Samuel Masters for Art-Sheep
John K. is an artist of whom very little is known, except for his numerous intriguing, if not a little obscene, photographs of nude women sitting on various bizarre items. Working as an amateur photographer in east Hollywood during his life, he collected a big set of vintage pornographic snapshots, undoubtedly for personal, besides artistic purposes, with his young models depicted sitting gracefully on things as surprising as oranges and cakes.
K.’s collection captured the attention of famous fetish photographer Eric Kroll when, after the first’s death his previously private pictures became open for the public to obtain, and is now, titled Sitting, and can now be purchased, as well as will partly be exhibited in Galerie Susanne Zander in cologne.
