Norway-based artist Ashkan Honarvar has exhibited his work in multiple shows both in Europe and the United States. His work features the human body in its most vulnerable form: injured, deformed and grotesque. The Faces 5 series includes digitally manipulated photographs of several mutiladed faces that instead of blood have frosting and candy sprinkles all over them, creating a deeply symbolic result that is definitely not for a light stomach.
