If you think you’re looking at people sitting on scribbles, you’re neither wrong nor entirely right. These people, lying down and sitting on these abstract drawings, are not flexible acrobats staged to look like sitting comfortably on something non-solid. Neither it’s photoshop.
It’s actually Daigo Fukawa’s Rough Sketch Products, created for his 2013 senior thesis show at Tokyo University of the Arts. The young artist formed his creations by arranging wire, creating multiple shaped and colored chairs and benches. The world that Fukawa made up is a world with big 3D sketches that stand on the floor instead of lying on the canvas, functioning as high design furniture that any artsy person would want in their house.
