Extravagant fashion is not just for women anymore…or maybe it never was.

The expression ‘One to Watch’ never fitted another up-and-coming menswear fashion label more than SANKUANZ. Zhe Shangguan, the designer behind the brand, founded SANKUANZ Co., Ltd back in 2008, a year after he graduated from Xiamen University in China. A few months later, he presented his first collection in Shanghai’s Fashion Week. The success of SANKUANZ’s debut looks, all presented under the title ‘Tian Shang’, earned the brand a place to London’s Menswear Fashion Week for Spring/Summer 2015. As you can see in the images below, his exceptional, imaginative and playful clothes that bring together elements of different cultural inspirations, couldn’t but make GQ China, which sponsored his first LFW collection, fund Zhe Shangguan’s next Autumn/Winter 2015 collection, presented to the world back in January 2015.
Maybe you wouldn’t wear his sculptural gloves. But then again fashion is not just about wearable clothes. Most time it’s all about incredible designs skills to admire.
