Say what?
Remember when everybody was pretty much asking for a “dislike” button on Facebook? Well consider that wish granted, as Facebook is finally giving its users the choice to express how much they dislike a post.
After six years of playing solo, “Like” will have a strong competitor, as Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg announced on Tuesday. “It’s important to give people more options than just like,” he explained and expressed how he wants people to be able to show their negative emotions.
According to The New York Times, Zuckerberg realizes how not everything shared on Facebook are happy news and beautiful photos, “Not every moment is a good moment, and if you are sharing something that is sad, whether it’s something in current events, like the refugees crisis that touches you or if a family member passed away, then it may not feel comfortable to like that post.”
Are you excited you’re finally getting the “dislike” button your 2009 self wished for? Well, at least one thing’s for certain and that is, THIS IS WAR.
