Remember Esther Honig? The journalist behind the amazing experiment of how designers from different countries would photoshop her portrait, inspired a U.K.-based online doctor service that asked graphic designers from around the world to photoshop this man’s body according to their country’s beauty standards.
After doing the same with a female model, it was this guy’s turn to get a digital makeover in order to become more attractive to each country’s standards. “Fueled in part by the media and popular culture, men around the world may feel even more body image–related pressure than women do – pressure to be stronger or slimmer or more muscular. Our goal with this project is to fuel a revolution: to spark real change about body image, to empower people to prioritize health above appearance, and to promote body confidence around the world,” the write on their website.
