Jonathan Stone for Art-Sheep
Spain-based artist Lara Rios lives and works in a house that is a praise to architecture, design and aesthetics. This modern jewel was created by iba architects and SiO2 arch and is definitely the perfect space for an artist.
This dreamhouse is based on a metal corrugated plate, exposed in the interior, while its exterior is finished with flexible stucco on fiber reinforced resins. The construction is divided into four autonomous, but correlated, units: the main house, a guest apartment, the atelier and a garage. The open hallway in the center of the building is a large, roofed space that connects the main house to the atelier. The lighting and ventilation extend to every room, while the house is double orientated, making it equally a home and a working space.
