You know how we like to feature models who are nothing but extraordinary, like Yasmina Rossi, the 59-year-old woman who is revolutionizing the fashion industry. A little bit more of a rebel and Rossi’s elder, 93-year-old grandma Emiko is taking Instagram by storm, as she models for her granddaughter Chinami Mori’s colorful handmade clothes. Moris practices Saori, a freestyle Japanese weaving technique, known for its bright patterns.
As she explains on the Instagram Blog, the artist believes that her grandmother is the perfect model for her fun creations. “There are no rules .I can weave as freely and as colorfully as I want,” explains the artist. When asked about her grandmother she states how happy she is to make her look good and feel nice. “She’s my favorite person in the whole world. I make grandma happy, and that’s just so much fun for me, too,” says Mori.
Go grandma Emiko!
