FIFA’s decision to choose Qatar as the host of the 2022 FIFA World Cup has caused an outrage. Criticism and allegations against Qatar’s financial involvement with FIFA and its deadly work conditions pile up. 900 workers have died during constructions, while it is estimated that the numbers will rise to 4,000, by the end of the construction for the Qatar world cup.

Not only are they working under hideous circumstances, but according to reports, migrant workers are not even allowed to leave their country before the end of their employment period. This affected the Nepalese workers who even after the catastrophic earthquakes in Nepal, were not allowed to leave Qatar.

Lately, social media users have been sharing anti-Qatar posts, including “anti-advertisements”, parodies of major sponsors that keep supporting the FIFA championship, featured below.
