Ben Frost is an Australian pop artist known for his bright, provocative images that blend characters we used to love when we were kids with things from our modern world. Apart from cartoons, Frost often uses images taken from manga, pop art works and comics, creating a line of artworks that draw the viewer, who immediately gets Frost’s comment.
The artist uses sexually-charged imagery but he uses it with a lot of humor, as he explores issues like consumerism on many different levels. In his series of Packages, Frost creates fun paintings on packages, that are either cute or extremely NSFW.
