Benedicte Lacroix is a French graphic artist and retoucher, who had the amazing idea of combining her love for art with her knowledge on pop culture and create a super fun series of work.
The artist photoshops popular actors, singer and celebrities into famous paintings with them taking the place of their protagonists. Lacroix has uploaded her hilarious creations on her blog along with other projects of her.
In her diptychs, her subjects are so skillfully blended into the paintings, that they could make even the more observant viewer believe that Leonard DiCaprio was actually Vincent Van Gogh or that Rowan Atkinson was Gustave Courbet.
