They say that best things come in small packages and it’s true. Turkish artist Hasan Kale, creates incredibly minuscule, yet impressively detailed and skilled works of art on everyday objects with tiny surfaces, such as matchsticks, seeds and dried nuts, small pebbles, lipstick tips and nail heads.
Kale, with a fine-tipped brush manages to recreate famous portraits and paintings, as well as his own works, inspired by Turkish landscape, culture and everyday life.Beautiful and full of color, the Istanbul-based artist’s creations are actually no bigger than a fingernail, a feat that is quite impressive.
