Drew Young is a young artist based in Vancouver. Using his studies in illustration and applied arts, Young forms a line of work that combines painting and new forms of art like digital manipulation and collage. Painting effects of digital editing in his post-apocalyptic, dystopian artworks makes them different, interesting and attractive for the viewer.
Dark and mysterious, they tell a story artists often like to narrate. The grotesque in our society and the barrenness of its subjects’ souls.
