Anna Randal for Art-Sheep
Chicago-based artist Jason Lazarus selected the following photographs, sent to him as a response to his project Too Hard to Keep.
Lazarus asked people to send him photographs that they couldn’t hold on to anymore. The submissions included from family photos to photos of places and objects. Hundreds of people sent Lazarus unwanted photos, whether because they were sick of looking at them or because they reminded them of a painful memory. The photographs where submitted anonymously and are exhibited without attribution.
