Slava Thisset is a Minsk, Belarus-based artist and photographer, who experiments with body painting, photography and digital manipulation. As it’s shown in many of his series of images, Thisset focuses on the effect of fluorescence in the form of body art on his models.
Thisset’s aesthetic is bright and vivid like the neon colors on his subjects’ bodies. “UV color seems very magical. Many creatures living on earth have fluorescent properties. I was very surprised and inspired. I also really like geometric shapes, cyberpunk and science fiction,” he explains to me.
