American photographer Rachel Baran is a young, extremely talented artist that captures stunning portraits with a surrealistic twist.
Baran’s work is exprerimental and full of suggestiveness: the photographer shows her incredible skills by digitally manipulating her photographs to reveal the mystery and the emotions that lie beneath them. From a shot that depicts two hands fused together by skinwebs to detached fingers that reveal concrete and not blood, Baran’s stills are poignant, dark and beautiful at the same time.
