Her remarkable works of art have won her numerous public commissions
Since the dawn of carving until the present day, sculptures have been monumental. Cities from all around the world a pice or two to flaunt, only proving that such form of art still greatly influences a region’s culture
Chinese artist Luo Li Rong creates realistic sculptures that convey the beauty and grace of the human figure. Rong’s figurative sculptures evoke movement and intrigue, whether it’s the artist’s feminine, graceful figures or her otherworldly creatures. The artist is mainly inspired by European Renaissance and baroque artists.
She began sculpting early, so it was no surprise that she excelled during her studies at the Beijing Academy of Fine Arts (CAFA), where she worked mainly with figurative sculpture. She is also a member of the studio of the great artist Zon Jiabao. Although influenced by the great masters of art history, her work is perfectly contemporary.
