This is as sad as it can get..not to BEE continued i hope

Bees have a really important role in the food chain, with around one-third of the food we eat relying on pollination mainly by bees. These include fruits and vegetables such as avocados, broccoli and cherries.

Around 500 million bees have died within just three months in Brazil, with researchers saying pesticides are likely to be the main cause of death. Most of the insects were reportedly found to have traces of insecticides containing neonicotinoids and fipronil, which are banned in Europe.

The plummeting numbers of bees were reported by beekeepers from four Brazilian states, with the country’s southernmost state Rio Grande do Sul reporting 400 million deaths alone. Seven million bees were reported dead in São Paulo, with 50 million also dying in Santa Catarina and 45 million in Mato Grosso.

It is frightening to write these numbers . This is the reality though and sadly there is no more room for poor excuses like “there is nothing we can do people are going to be people an do whatever they want anyways” and there is no more room for procrastination as well. If you can do something as simple as bying a bee-friendly plant on your balcony or your house do it . Don’t wait for tomorrow if you are awake today and you are standing on your feet then you are blessed enough to do something as simple as that.

United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) estimates that about 75% of the planet’s food is dependent on bee pollination. It doens’t get clearer than that. We cannot exist without Bees that’s the bottom line.
