Greetings, my brave reader.
Spanish photographer Ángela Burón has been around for a while, teasing us with her sly images that often feature herself as the subject. She amuses herself with photographing different body parts and then re-arranging them through digital manipulation into new and quite interesting compositions that playfully mess with your mind. The photographer also shoots straight up portraits that challenge your surrealistic nerve with their humorous mood.
As a child, Burón had dreams about becoming an inventor with a room filled up with an odd-lot of objects and machinery that would prepare meals. Growing up, and while she was trying to find a way to make her dream come true, she decided to follow her father’s steps and become an engineer but she soon dropped out on the idea and went after her true passion -photography.
