The First Artist To Dedicate Her Career To The Finger Painting Technique.

That split-second decision changed her work forever.

Finger painting is often thought of as something that is just for children. Iris Scott is a finger-painting artist who paints with paint-covered latex gloves. No brushes or any kind of painting tool is used to make this fine art. It is almost unbelievable how detailed are those canvas paintings.

It all started in Taiwan in 2010, where she felt exhausted cleaning her brushes. Added paint to her fingertips and finished a nearly complete oil painting of hers. “I remember thinking, ‘Woah, that’s very juicy. I can really kind of sculpt this like clay, I was like, ‘I’m going to dedicate myself to finger painting,’ [and] now it’s ten years later.” Scott said when asked how it all started.

She has made nearly 500 finger painting masterpieces.
