Terry Orwell for Art-Sheep
It’s not an easy thing to carry a beard badass image these days. Too many facial hair out there. But Sao Paolo-based art director Adriano Alarcon is a different case of… beard. He grew out his rich beard for several months and then did the unthinkable: he shaved off half of it for the sake of art. The result is “Fifty Fifty Selfie Barber Shop“, and for this project Alarcon used several different objects, from plastic cockroaches to pop-corn, to fill his baby smooth side of his face.
Through his photographs Alarcon touches the subject of selfies and beards, two pretty dominating trends of our time. Take a look, they’ll definitely put a smile on your face.
