A Digital Log of a 22yo Woman who Contracted COVID-19

What was it like, having coronavirus? We are all thankful she shared her experience.

Bjonda Haliti is a 22-year-old woman who tested positive for the coronavirus. She then recorded and made her experience public via her social media channels. The story became viral, for all the right reasons.

Yes, it is quite understandable for younger people to have less fear about the virus itself. In the US, only 29% of confirmed cases occurred in people in the 20-44 age group. Further still, when it comes to everyone admitted to an ICU, this age group only makes up 2-4%.

But still, young people are not immune to COVID-19. And Bjonda’s log, allowed everyone in her age group to gain knowledge from her experience, in case they contracted the virus themselves.

And to think she was hesitant at first to post about it.
