A brilliant blast of 8 million vigorously coloured flower petals has swept through a Costa Rican village as the ad now running for the tech giant’s new 4K Ultra HD line of TV sets. And yes, these surging waves of petals are real. For more than two weeks, both the creative team behind this enterprise as well as the villagers picked what amounted in the end to 3.5 tons of flower petals, or 8 million in number. What is so special about the number 8 million? Well, 8 million is the number of pixels on the 4K TV’s screen, so…
