A topless FEMEN activist hung from a bridge in Paris on Thursday, staging a fake execution to protest Iran’s President Hassan Rouhani visit to the city. The woman, who was hanging from Debilly bridge, had the Iranian flag painted across her chest and a banner above her head that read “Welcome Rouhani, executioner of freedom.”

The Iranian president visited Paris to sign off on a business deal between the two countries.“We organized this public display as a little reminder of the fact that every year, more than 800 people are sentenced to death in his country,” said FEMEN France spokesperson Sarah Constantin, as quoted by Reuters.
