Anna Randal for Art-Sheep
Turkish photographer Cuneyt Akeroglu‘s collaboration with Antidote Magazine, led to a series of striking, bold photographs discussing passion, love and romance.
Photographed for the Romance issue, Akeroglu’s models walk on the line between romantic and psychotic, posing with snakes, in weird suits and tied in ropes in front of a bright red background. The London-based photographer gave his series the title, Redroom, as his subjects interact in space of no limits, defined only by its color. He draws his references from a wide range of art history’s representation of nude figures, in a deep, sensual ode to love, with famous models posing with various objects. Exploring softer and more intense expressions of love, Redroom focuses on emotions, feelings and thoughts of human beings.
