When life hits you in the face, make sure you at least take a photo of it.
US based photographer, Kaija Straumanis, took a set of self-portraits that capture various everyday objects hitting her on the face –literally on the face.
From a boot to a box of strawberries, the objects collide gracefully with Straumanis’ head, resulting to a funny but definitely impressive series of photos. Apart from taking amazing photos though, Straumanis also knows how to pose. Like a cartoon character having an epiphany, the photographer reacts either neutral or surprised the moment she meets her flying “partner”. Her ability to capture the exact moment of impact, while keeping her expressions on point, is truly admirable. Unfortunately though, these photos cannot answer the important question of whether getting hit by a pumpkin hurts or not.
