Bela Borsodi is a Vienna-born and New York-based photographer. After studying graphic design and fine art he started to work as a photographer. Since his moving in New York he has focused on still life photography, while he is famous for his bright, bizarre images -often featuring figures, seen in many campaigns and editorials. In 2013 Bela began to work on short films as a director. He has collaborated with magazines and fashion labels, like the New York Times and Nike.
In his series “Skin Flicker”, Borsodi captures female figures in erotic poses, only to highlight their bodies through black and red light, with this artistic effects removing any sign of nudity and sexiness.
