Now that the public eye has turned, more than ever, on hunting and especially the propriety or “political correctness”, if you will, of hunters proudly posing next to slaughtered animals, an artist comes to provide us with an interesting perspective on the matter. MONK, a stencil artist, has recently created an interesting series of stencils, featuring hunters displaying their trophies.
The intriguing part though is that the illustrations include beloved Disney characters in the role of game. From a slain Dumbo to Baloo and from Ariel to the carcass of Mufasa, among others, MONK’s artworks definitely have a statement to make and they do so, loud and clear.
