Sarcastic and fun, Shary Boyle‘s work is like a sunbeam on a cold day. And no we’re not exaggurating, our lyricism is inspired by Boyle’s artworks. She works with ceramics, sculpture, painting, installation and drawing, but despite her work’s diversity she maintains a mysterious, dark essence.
Delicate yet explicit, her sculptures balance between beauty and ugliness, as their detailed features juxtapose their shocking content. Their lyricism blend beautifully with their kitsch character, drawing the viewer to each and every one of their characteristics.
