A coffeemonster and the coffeemonsters

It all started in 2011. In a cold winter’s day.  A German man, named Stefan Kuhnigk spilled some coffee at a piece of paper. This was during a meeting, at his work, an ad agency. Instead of throwing the piece of paper in the trash, he started doodling around the coffee stain.

Since them he does it day by day, or at least he tries to. He creates everything from innocent, sweet and lovely critters to even evil and naughty cofeemonsters. He has created over five hundred of these illustrations and doesn’t plan on stopping.

Creation itself drives Stefan, as well as everything that surrounds the act of the coffee, hitting the paper. He lets the stain dry for up to six hours and then he can draw directly on the stain.
