Raffael Dickreuter is a Los-Angeles-based designer and photographer who took Robert Downey Jr’s rejection a little too hard!
The photographer asked the famous actor to allow him to take his photo, only to get rejected by the “Avenger”. Dickreuter then thought that the best way to get over Robert Downey Jr was to create a series of images capturing his most recognizable film character, Iron-Man, in hilarious and lonesome situations.
Iron Man Grounded seems to be the story of how the hero struggles with every day human issues like taking the metro or visiting a museum. It’s very interesting how Iron-Man looks like he’s actually struggling while doing common things, but what’s even more interesting is how perfectly the photographer has set his scenes, making Iron-Man look like he has emotions.
