Ana Pech’s work always begins with what moves her: an emotion, an urgent need to speak, or simply a fleeting feeling. Sometimes a single sentence transforms into a poem; sometimes an image insists on existing until it becomes an illustration. Writing, for her, is an act of constant rewriting, chasing rhythm and meaning. In her visual work, aesthetics often lead the way, but they are later anchored with story and symbolism. A face with a snake, first drawn as an obsession, found its meaning only through its title. A dove clutching dynamite, by contrast, was carefully crafted to embody a social tension, a deliberate translation of unease into image.
