Interior designer Maximo Riera has created a new piece for his well distinguishable Animal Chair Collection. The Hippopotamus chair was made to look like the real thing on a scale of 1:1.
The Spanish artist offers an absolutely safe solution for anyone wanting to rest on a hippopotamus, given the fact that they are one of the most aggressive animals in the world. This new piece is perhaps Riera’s most suited animal out of all in his collection to be a sofa. It is done made of fine leather, after the fashion of his all-black high-luxury signature style. As is the case with the rest of his animal chairs, the Hippopotamus is made with exquisitely realistic detail.
