Food artist Tisha Cherry has done the unthinkable: by using colored icing and black or white Oreo cookies, she replicates the work of great artists such as Henry Matisse and Frida Kahlo on the inside of the treat.
Creating miniature scale art it’s a difficult task itself, but to use icing adds a whole different level of complication. However, Cherry’s are impressive for being uniquely elaborate – some of them even have a tiny painting palette on their side. Her Oreo art includes pieces from a wide range of artistic styles and painters: Rene Magritte, Henry Matisse, Frida Kahlo, Vincent Van Gogh and more. But she doesn’t stop there! Apart from fine art replication, Cherry has also done iconic movie posters such as Jaws, the famous grumpy cat, pop icons like Lady Gaga and even Mr Monopoly.
Her work definitely takes a lot of patience. We love it!
