Visceral is the work of photographer Paola Rojas H. and illustrator David Pérez. The artists created a series of images where naked models have their anatomy painted on their skins. From lungs to wombs, the creators used red and blue to represent the organs as they see them. Red for the heart, blue for the bones.
“Red and blue, go over the body from the inside out. Each stroke, which happens to be an anatomy lesson, speaks of instincts. And here it intimately joins the heart. The coldest color, takes us into the bowels which show the fragility and complexity of which we are made. The frozen body and the fiery heart,” they explain on their behance page.
