Myles Pedlar is an Australian photographer based in Melbourne. His work focuses on the human body, its form and the way it interacts with its surroundings.
Shooting his models naked, Pedlar perfectly catches the many ways a figure can be shaped, in front of staged backgrounds or in communication with a natural habitat. The symmetrical poses of the bodies in combination to the bright scenery create a juxtaposition of presence and space that draws the viewer’s attention and makes him/her to pay attention to the details.
Pedlar’s stunning images capture a clean-cut view on the human body and its relation to the world, making it stand out inside the stillness of its existence.
