Julia Horeftari for Art-Sheep

Greetings, my brave reader.

Ireland has given us some of the greatest minds in literature. Poets, novelists and playwrights whose genius is incomparable. James Joyce -a personal favourite, Seamus Heaney, Samuel Beckett, Oscar Wilde, Edna O’Brien, W.B. Yeats and George Bernard Shaw are artists of the word who have blessed us with masterpieces that raised the bar like only so few can.
If you’re not acquainted with their works, these quotes should send you straight to a bookshop to get a copy of Joyce’s “Ulysses”, or Beckett’s “Waiting for Godot”, or Wilde’s “The Picture of Dorian Gray”, maybe O’Brien’s “A Pagan Place” or Shaw’s “Pygmalion”, or a collection of poems by Yeats or Heaney. In any case, my brave reader, the following quotes will at least speak to your heart.
