Paw Print Rat Art Sells Out!! (Yes, You Read That Correctly)
So, you are a struggling artist, you are trying really hard to make ends meet and at the same time working to get more attention on your art (which you believe in wholeheartedly). Then, you learn, rats outsell you… was that a slap in the face or what? Lol, all jokes aside, let’s take a look at an interesting story with an emotional overlay as well.
Steph Toogood is a young lady who loves her rats. She has several of them as pets and they are her best friends. A while back, one of her rats underwent surgery and sadly passed away. Steph, working at the vets, was able to take some paw prints of her deceased pet rat in order to always remember him.
So she thought she ought to do this to the rest of her pet rats while they were alive, to have something so personal of theirs, to remember them by.
So she got some paint, adorable miniature canvases and put those little rats to work, lol. She accomplished what she wanted, having something of theirs to remember them by, but soon, after she posted some photos on her social media (photography is her hobby) people started showing interest in the little paw print rat paintings. They showed so much interest that a demand to buy them arose. And Steph obliged.
She doesn’t want to have her rats spent their lives covered in paint though and for her, her pets’ happiness is paramount.
