Anna Randal for Art-Sheep

Are you sick and tired of cats ruling the Internet world yet? Neither are we and neither is artist Svetlana Petrova who embraces the power of her cat in a hilarious set of photoshopped images.

Zarathustra the Cat, who weighs about 22 pounds (10 kg), stars in Petrova’s artworks, in which she poses like a natural model. Remaking classic works of art like the Mona Lisa or American Gothic, these works featuring this adorable feline would be of interest even to people who couldn’t care less about Leonardo and Grant Wood. According to Petrova, only the great artists can appreciate the “generous body and sublime soul” of the chubby protagonist. And cat lovers, I dare to add!
