Ezra H. Murray for Art-Sheep
Artist Scott Blake, most commonly known for his barcode art, lately started to experiment with the all familiar and humble hole puncher. Blake makes short animations by punching various patterns on the pages of mini flipbooks. As you flip through the books, these patterns seem to rotate and twist. So far, there are four versions of these hole punch flipbooks which you can find on his website. Here’s a couple of gifs and a video to give you a taste.
