La Villette En Suites is the new solo show of Swiss artist Felice Varini at the Grande halle de la Villette in Paris.
The exhibition features a number of anamorphic projections, that are designed to be viewed from a specific point and create an uncanny optical illusion. The artist uses architectural forms and shapes as the point of reference for his work. He chooses spaces with an interesting width and depth that will give the element of drama to his unique installations.
Varini’s geometric installations are technically paintings that cover both interior and exterior spaces around the cultural center. The exhibition will be on display until September 13, 2015.
