Created for Brazilian pediatric organization SPRS, this new advertising campaign aims to warn future mothers about the effects their bad food and drink habits can have on their babies.
The disturbing ads feature infants suckling from breasts that have been illustrated to look like unhealthy treats, along with the tagline ‘Your child is what you eat’. Additionally, beneath the tagline, the ads warn: ‘Your habits in the first thousand days of [your child’s life] can prevent your child from developing serious diseases.’
A rather upsetting reminder that a mother’s bad diet can potentially harm her baby, the images show babies nursing on cheeseburger, doughnut and soda breasts.
