Agape Charmani for Art-Sheep

How many times have you been in a fight with your parents/spouse/roommates for not throwing away all these random useless stuff they keep stumbling upon?

For designer Roger Chouinard random stuff are probably his paradise, as for his latest project he used various of old little things and turned them into art. The artist combined the objects with a series of drawings as a part of a book project called “Playbook”. According to him, this project can’t be described better than fun with found objects. And indeed, it does look like the production of the series was a very fun process.

Chouinard’s little objects look like they were found in an object cemetery, with the artist saving them and then giving them a new life. With his imagination and creativity, he made a world where old cans and paper boxes can start anew as birds and dogs.

This beautiful series of works reminds us all how everything, even a rusty latch, deserves a second chance. Now go run to your flatmates and explain to them how the mess they see all around the house is potential art.
