Tadas Maksimovas, an artist based in London, gave it all (and by it we mean his hair), during his fascinating performance, Hair Music: The Experiment.

Using his hair as the fragile strings of a violin, the experiment shows how almost everything can be turned into art. After having his hair twisted and glued into spun fibers, the artist waits patiently while his long hair is fixed to the wooden instrument. Maksimovas collaborates perfectly with musician Eimantas Belickas, in order to achieve the difficult but enjoyable to perform, gig. Created for Street Musician’s Day, an annual music event, initiated by Lithuanian musician Andrius Mamontovas, the piece is definitely something that demonstrates an artist’s patience, discipline and creativity when it comes to his work.
