Agape Charmani for Art-Sheep

Marc Sinaj is a Milwaukee-based artist whose sculptures have shocked the audience and the critics with their realism and expressiveness.

His superrealistic sculptures are “homages to humanity’s fascination with its own forms — a fascination which has compelled artists throughout the millennia to mirror life in virtually every medium.” With every little detail being exceptionally realistic, Sinaj has created a series of sculptures where real emotions and states of being are projected.

Spending from 6 months to a year to complete a piece, Sinaj creates sculptures with a story. Each sculpted person has a person behind it, a character and a life that follows their appearance. Choosing real people as his models, Sinaj respects their decisions as to whether they wish to be replicated or not.

Reminding us of our existence and substance through human-like artworks, Sinaj highlights our flaws and advantages, focusing on both and celebrating the fact that we consist of both good and bad traits; the fact that we are human.
