Anna Randal for Art-Sheep

Lucie Thomas and Thibault Zimmermann are Zim & Zou, a French artist duo with a very creative and pop working style.

Thomas and Zimmermann met while studying graphic design and  were united by their love of tangible media over design software. Since they joined their creative minds, they have created many artworks and installations, all identifiable as Zim & Zou works.

Zim & Zou’s unique artworks are a combination of designing and constructing. Their toy-like colorful paper sculptures were made as a result of a careful and immaculate craftsmanship. Their handmade works are consisted of bright colors, but they are always references of something real, natural or mechanical. These pop versions of everyday objects consist a happier version of our world.

Amongst their series of works are collaborations with retail clients like Hermes or philanthropic organizations like the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, while they have showed their colorful installations at esteemed institutions like the Centre Pompidou in Paris
